Atlanta – Jun 02 2009

Hello everyone:

June is almost here and it’s time again for our monthly get-together.

We will be meeting at the St Regis Hotel on June 2nd located in Buckhead (across from Whole Foods on Paces Ferry Rd.) Upon entering the lobby area, make a left towards the stairs and come up towards the bar / wine bar area. We will be meeting outside on the terrace.

Two full bars will be set up as well as waiter / waitress staff to take care of us. You are also welcome to purchase your drinks at the bar / wine bar if you prefer.

I have arranged for appetizers and valet parking is free. This venue is really nice so I am anticipating a big crowd – please do RSVP so I can give them a headcount at the hotel…

Look forward to seeing everyone soon!!!

Atlanta – Mar 03 2009

Hello everyone:

Our event last month at the W Buckhead hotel was great but I anticipate an even better crowd for our upcoming event.

We will have it next Tuesday, March 3rd at AJA, formerly Emerald’s restaurant, located at 3500 Lenox Road (Alliance Center, Suite 100). Start time as usual will be at 7:30.

The good news is we will have complimentary valet parking as well as complimentary parking across the restaurant (in the glass building), validated by the restaurant (up to three hours after arrival) for those of you who do not wish to valet.

I have also arranged for free appetizers (NOT full dinner), so this should be a fun-filled event. Personally I think this is a great venue and perfect for our group. We will have our own section located in the right back corner from the entrance by the side bar.

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week.

Stay tuned, details for appetizers and specials coming soon!

Join us to share this historical election night paty with other Europeans.

The place is beautiful. The the toile-covered hanging lamps. Very shabby chic. And original. The three-sided bar, which is the focal point, is expansive yet welcoming. (a tented patio outside where you can dance to DJs showcasing their music after 10PM from Wednesday to Saturday)

The tapas… Priced from $2.50 with nothing over $8, most items are $4 and $5 (except for the Paella For Two which will set you back $20). Serving sizes are substantial — a good value in today’s economy. And the taste? Chef Rafael Mendoza, who took helm at the Fishmonger Seafood Grill for over a decade before coming to Eros, offers a wide range of tastes influenced by Mediterranean, Spanish, Italian, African, Asian, and even Southern cuisines. As a result, the menu is a mish-mash of different flavors, yet blended together by a culinary round-the-world tour of sorts.

Atlanta – Oct 09 2008

This event will be held together with the YEC so it should be a big turn-out. (We had joint events together with the YEC at Aiko and the Glenn Hotel earlier this year).
