Join us for the final summer Movies by Moonlight featuring the French film, Gigi. Set in Paris at the turn of the century, this delightful Lerner and Loewe musical, based on a story by Collette, follows a precocious French girl as she is groomed into a would-be courtesan, blossoming into a stunning woman.

DIRECTIONS TO THE BOSTON HARBOR HOTEL

BY T: Closest t-stops are Aquarium or State on the Blue Line or South Station on Red Line. Proceed to Atlantic Avenue and Rowes Wharf to Hotel.

FROM THE NORTH

Take Rte. I-93 south to exit 23 for High St. / Congress St.
At the bottom of the exit ramp, go straight ahead (onto Purchase St.) toward Congress St. and go to the first light. Turn left onto Congress Street. Go to the first light again and turn left again onto Atlantic Avenue. The Boston Harbor Hotel is one and one-half blocks on the right on Rowes Wharf.

FROM THE SOUTH

Rte I-93 north to exit 20 (I-90 East & West / South Station / South Boston) follow signs to South Station. Go through 6 traffic lights on Atlantic Avenue (which is one-way) to the hotel. The Boston Harbor Hotel is on Rowes Wharf on the right side of Atlantic Avenue.

FROM THE WEST

Follow the Mass. Pike / Rte I-90 to exit 24a to South Station. Then follow Atlantic Avenue (which is one-way) through 6 traffic lights to the hotel. The Boston Harbor Hotel on Rowes Wharf on the right side of Atlantic Avenue.

Alternate route: follow the Mass. Pike / Rte. I-90 east to exit 25 for South Boston. Proceed through 2 traffic lights to old Northern Avenue (by the sign for Anthony’s Pier 4 Restaurant). Continue on around to the Moakley Bridge. After crossing the bridge, you must turn right onto Atlantic Avenue. The Boston Harbor Hotel will be on the right almost immediately after this turn.

Directions from the North traveling South on Rte. 93: Follow Rte. 93 South to exit 23, High Street. Proceed down the ramp, stay to the right, and then continue straight and take the second left onto Franklin St. The hotel entrance is on the right.

Directions from the South traveling North on Rte. 93: Follow Rte. 93 North to exit 23,Government center. Stay left off the exit (following signs Govt. Center/Faneuil Hall) Take your first left onto North Street, follow it to the end and turn left on Congress Street. At the third light turn left onto Milk Street. Take your second right onto Oliver street. At the stop sign turn right onto Franklin Street, the hotel entrance is on your right.

Directions from the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90): Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike (90 East) into Boston exit 24B, to I 93 North to exit 23, Government center. Stay left off the exit (following signs for Govt. Center/Faneuil Hall) and take your first left onto North Street follow it to the end and turn left on Congress Street. The Living Room offers a candle-lit lounge, couches, love seats, and a wide variety of music. You can sample drinks from the varied bar menu in addition to some of the varied food offerings. As usual, friends and colleagues are welcome!

The Living Room is just a short walk from Faneuil Hall, the North End, or Waterfront and is located in the Mercantile Wharf Building on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Richmond Street.

Diana Cerrone nicely proposed to organize this event: To cheer up during this cold winter, come and join us on Friday, February 21st at 8:00 pm for dinner at Midwest Grille-Brazilian Churrascaria. They have Brazilian barbecue dishes. The Grill has a nice atmosphere. They bring huge skewers of different kinds of meat around to each table.
