New resolution checklist 2012:
– Meet some super cool, friendly, and sophisticated int’l types
– Be more social (see above)
– Network for a new job, and possibly new partner (!)

Don t miss this opportunity to get a taste of Absinthe, a drink that became so popular in bars, bistros, cafés, and cabarets that, by the 1860s, the hour of 5 p.m. was called l’heure verte (“the green hour”). Absinthe was favored by all social classes, from the wealthy bourgeoisie to poor artists and ordinary working-class people. By the 1880s, mass production had caused the price of absinthe to drop sharply. By 1910, the French were drinking 36 million liters of absinthe per year (compared to their consumption of almost 5 billion liters of wine).

Last month’s event was such a hit, they we decided to come back to Zella. This combination restaurant and lounge features a spacious and comfortable vibe as well as great food, and of course, Chicago’s best outdoor patio! We will again be featuring unbeatable drink specials including $2 red bull and vodka’s, $3 domestic beer, and 20% off all food orders for the evening! Even if Valentine’s Day is considered to be one of those fake holidays, we’re determined to make it fun for everyone! **Also, as a special incentive and in the effort to make this a truly festive event, we are offering a special REDUCED ADMISSION of $5 if you come wearing something RED!!!
