Houston – March 15 2012

Houston, it’s time to Rodeo!

Come and celebrate Rodeo Month with us.
Join us for a night of drinks and ‘Goode Company’ at the Armadillo Palace.

The Armadillo Palace is a veritable Old-West saloon with ice-cold beer, smooth whiskey, live Texas music and of course, Goode food. The place is pure country, with saddles as seats and great friendly service.

If you have passed the iconic giant armadillo with the red glowing eyes thousands of times without ever going in this is your chance. This place has really great burgers! We tried the bleu cheese and bacon burger and they have the best red onions to top it sweet and with a little kick.

Happy Hour from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
You can take a look at Armadillo Palace’s menu here

So join us for this night and bring your friends and colleagues !

International Women’s Day has been observed since in the early 1900′s

Annually on March 8, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world ranging from political rallies, business conferences, government activities and networking events through to local women’s craft markets, theatric performances, fashion parades and more. In some countries IWD has the equivalent status of Mother’s Day where children give small presents to their mothers and grandmothers.

Since its creation, Women for Women International has given hope to more than 299,000 women survivors of war and conflict and helped them move toward economic self-sufficiency with our year-long program of direct aid, rights education, job skills training, and small business development. Since 1993, Women for Women International has mobilized more than 250,000 women and men in 130 countries worldwide. For more info on Women for Women check out their site:http://www.womenforwomen.org
