More about the Greenbelt:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Located off of Highway 360, The Greenbelt serves as a popular attraction for both visitors and Austin locals. It has explorative trails and numerous swimming holes for the warmer months. With multiple different routes and trailhead access points, the Greenbelt is a trail runner\u2019s dream. For runners – many of them –\u00a0 their favorite trailhead is The Scottish Woods trail,\u00a0 which is a less crowded access point.<\/p>\n

The trailhead starts off rocky with a decent decline known as \u201cThe Hill of Life\u201d. From there, it\u2019s a smoother ride and offers many different trails comprised of several obstacles. The main access is\u00a0off of 3755 B Capital Highway 360 and another popular one is Spyglass (West). Hit up this spot for the perfect combination of hiking and breakfast tacos from the nearby Taco Deli. For runners, with varied terrain and multiple trails,\u00a0this is a great place to challenge yourself while still enjoying Austin\u2019s serenity.<\/p>\n

\nPro tip:<\/b>\u00a0Stop at the iconic Sculpture Falls on the way back to cool off (only about 1 mile from The Scottish Woods Trailhead).<\/p>\n

Sculpture Falls Hike at Barton Creek is a 5 mile out and back trail located near Austin, TX that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate.<\/p>\n

The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.<\/p>\n
