More info on SubCircles
"SubCircles" (a.k.a. clubs or groups in a city that has an active EuroCircle team called Z"Circle") enable our members to find others who share their interests - be it card playing, team sports, cooking or hang-gliding. "Sub"Circle members can decide to gather once a week or once a year, and organize whatever activity they have in mind independently.
Jorge and Fabrizio would love to find soccer partners, but none of their friends play the game. Katrina enjoys skiing, while Eva is interested in art. Francois would like to find people to go dancing with, but doesn't know any dancers. The solution? SubCircles!
For example, New York "Circle" has both Dance and Tennis "Sub"Circles, which regularly organize gatherings, outings and events. Other "Sub"Circles around the globe include F1 and Hiking Club in LA, just to name a few. We may also have some GLOBAL "Sub"Circles, such as Diplomatic Circle, that can been joined by all members allover the world (subject to organizer approval).

The EuroCircle Forum will enable each SubCircle to create its own forum so that those who are interested can easily discuss the organization of an event.
Do you have a passion for something? Well, chances are there is somebody out there who shares your interest. Become a SubCircle leader! We will help you with the administrative tasks. All you need to do is to come up with the idea for a group and plan an activity.

"Sub"Circle organizer responsibilities
After reviewing your suggestion to start a "Sub"Circle under any particular Circle (city), EuroCircle management will grant you access to the website for your "SubCircle", of which you will be the moderator and main contact. From that point on, members who have questions about your "Sub"Circle will send them to you. You may decide that the membership is subject to the organizer's approval. A good example is Mediterranean Nights "Sub"Circle in New York.

As the moderator and main contact, you should:
+ Answer any questions that come in to you in a timely manner
+ Keep EuroCircle membersposted of the status of the event: Is it running? Are you canceling it? Any problems? Please let us know!
+ Send a cancellation notice to those who have signed up if the event has been cancelled. Update the relevant event or Forum sections with any other changes if your event is posted there.
+ Attend the event (if you have sponsored it, you need to be there!)
+ Follow up with the attendees after the event: feedback is precious.
+ Respond to any inappropriate behavior during the group activity by immediately notifying EuroCircle management.
+ If there is a cost for the event , have those attending the event contact the place you're going to and make payment arrangements, if necessary. Circumstances will vary widely according to country customs. At times it may be easiest for you, the person running the activity, to handle collecting and distributing the money. Just use it responsibly and with integrity.

It is perfectly acceptable that your own attendance costs be either free or significantly reduced, given the time you have invested in organizing the event.

"Sub"Circle Leaders are generally not responsible for arranging transportation, although they can help organize carpools by keeping everyone in email contact.
