Organized by a New York EuroCircle member - right now Tom Prevetti - we started social tennis activities with Eric Nolan in New York on March 1, 2002.

Some thoughts we have right now

We will try to have one event per month depending upon interest. Generally on Saturday afternoon 3 pm to 6 pm during spring/summer (outdoors), or night play, Friday or Satuday Evening seems to best for most everyone with Saturday Night allowing some of our members to come in from outside Manhattan.

This is how Tom usually organizes these matches:

It is recommended that you show up before the start timeready to play for early court assignments.

Format is Mix n Match doubles (arranged by organizers) with the possibility of singles play.

Minimum play level is 3.5 (no beginners)- BYO food and/or drinks (there is a refrigerator in the clubhouse). There is a vending machine offering a soft drink selection.

There are 11 Hartru courts, balls, towels, lockers (you should bring
your own lock), showers are provided.

NO running shoes,cross trainers,or black soled shoes allowed.

Send a check or money order for $45 to Tom Prevetti, PO BOX 379, Old Chelsea Station, New York, NY 10011 (make check out to Tom Prevetti of course and include your contact info- email and/or phone number).

Check must be received usually a few days before h to ensure participation .
