Berlin – the city that never sleeps! Berlin is the capital city of Germany and at the same time one of the 16 states in Germany. With a population of about 3.5 million Berlin is also the largest city in Germany. Because of its creative energy and international diversity Berlin is a very popular place of residence in Germany with still moderate rental prices, a highly efficient public transportation system and a highly developed bike lane system. Its economy is dominated by the service sector including creative industries, media corporations and convention venues. Major industries represented in Berlin are IT, pharmaceuticals, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, electronics, traffic engineering and renewable energy. You will find renowned universities, research institutes, orchestras, museums and concert locations here as well as the famous Babelsberg Film Studios which have hosted many famous international film productions to date.

Annual festivals and significant sports events take place here; not to mention its vibrant nightlife with countless cafés, restaurants, bars and clubs that will help you rock around the clock, if you like.
