San Diego was once largely defined by military retirees (navy base) – think khaki and plaid. Nowadays there is a lot of high tech companies and city’s economy has not suffered as badly as many others. The mildness of the climate defines the city. For a big and fast-growing city San Diego manages to hang on to a resort feel despite the skyscrapers and brick facades of its revamped downtown. You need a car to get around. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the weather, from beaches and boardwalks to the fields and footpaths of sprawling Balboa Park.

Minette Bonner
Health Care Entrepreneur who plans on living in Europe, one day. My favorite hobby is travel! A few of the places I have visited include: Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, England, Scotland, South Africa, Senegal, Japan, Belgium, Netherlands and Italy. I love dancing and perform Brazilian Samba (yes, feathers in all).
My tastes are very eclectic and range from physical activities (beach volleyball, tennis, rollerblading, snowboarding) to cultural events (theatre, museums, wine tasting). One of my goals is to open medical clinics in Africa and teach the locals how to run them. I am very adventurous and spontaneous therefore love meeting people and learning about their background. My spiritual beliefs guide my personal and professional values; stewardship, humility and continually seek opportunities for growth.
Muriel Brault
Born in Montreal and living in the USA since 1981, Muriel has a Master from the university of Montreal. She is a Professor of Psychology & Transactional Analysis and French at the San Diego Community Colleges and SD State University and traveled all around the world. She joined EuroCircle San Diego in 2012
