Interests
I am also a member of the local professional association – the Insurance Professionals of Anchorage – where I serve on the Board as Treasurer since 2006. This year I have been elected the Vice President of this organization and have received my award “In recognition to dedicated service to the Insurance Professionals of Anchorage 2008”. I am also a registered candidate for the professional license designation – Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). At the same time I continue working on my Certificate in General Insurance curricula that is being offered by the Insurance Institute of America.  

EuroCircle Insights

Since moving to Alaska I started searching for cultural diversity and social connections in Anchorage, the town where I live, but I found it very hard to mingle with local people who had different social “settings” and interests, different cultural background and views. I started attending cultural meetings with the Italian Club of Anchorage, which inspired me to study one of the most beautiful languages on the planet – Italian. My quest for the European ‘braniacs’ and intellectuals did not stop at this point. In late 2007 I was referred to EuroCircle by a friend who lived in San Diego, and I decided to join the local circle. To my surprise there was no chapter of EuroCircle both in Anchorage and the entire Alaska! After several deliberations I made a decision to submit my own request to open the new chapter of EurioCircle here in Anchorage…
